The 2020 Darfur attacks were two mass shootings that occurred between 25-27 July 2020.
On 25 July a gunmen stormed a village in South Darfur, Sudan, according to local tribal leaders.[1] The attack left at least 20 people dead and another 22 were injured.[2]
On 27 July 2020 another massacre occurred in West Darfur involving around 500 gunmen that attacked a Masalit community, killing more than 60 people, looting, and burning down houses, the United Nations says.[3]
