On 27 July 2020, explosions and exchange of fire were heard during a "security incident" at the border between Israel and Lebanon.[1] No casualties are reported so far. The incident involved Israeli soldiers and four Hezbollah fighters who crossed the border, and came days after a Hezbollah member was killed by Israeli airstrikes in Syria. The Israel Defense Forces reported no Israeli casualties, while the four Hezbollah fighters fled back to Lebanon after being shot at. Hezbollah denied that their forces clashed with the Israeli army in a released statement.
